What we collect, and why

When you request the free guide, we collect your first name and email address. We use them only to send you the guide and a short series of follow-up emails about marrying in Sicily. We use MailerLite to store and send these emails; your details are not sold or shared with anyone else.

If you take our legal check, we also keep your answers with your email address, so we can email you a copy of your answer, reply to you personally, prepare if you get in touch and send you our occasional emails about marrying in Sicily. We keep them until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

If you contact us by email, WhatsApp or a booked call, we keep the correspondence so we can help you properly. If you become a client, the details needed to deliver the service are held for as long as the engagement and our legal obligations require.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete your details by emailing ciao@marriedinsicily.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

From the moment you arrive, the site loads Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement, and the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram). They set cookies that show us how the site is found and used and whether our adverts work, and let us show our adverts to people who have visited this site. We use nothing else: no chat widgets, no third-party advertising networks, no tracking across other sites. If you click "No thanks" on the cookie banner, we switch them off, delete the cookies they have set, and do not load them again on later visits from the same browser; the site works exactly the same. Your choice is remembered in your browser, and you can change it by clearing this site's data.
